How can I book?
Booking is a simple process and you can do so by contacting me by a phone call or email first. For weddings I like to meet face to face when possible. Destination weddings or elopements I like to set up face time conversation. Portrait sessions I do require a phone call to build that trust and a rapport. I require a retainer fee to secure a session date. Please take a look at my portfolio
My career started out with my Bachelor of Photography at Griffith University. I then got a dream full time job at Tangalooma Dolphin Resort and now I teach travel photography and photograph weddings, fashion and portraits. I have years of experience and know how to make my clients comfortable in front of the camera. Most of all I understand lighting and how to use it in the best possible ways to create high quality creative photographs.
Being in front of the Camera
Engagement sessions are a great way to experience being in front of the camera before your wedding day. They are a valuable experience but are not a requirement. It depends on each couple and what they feel is best for there budget and lifestyle. Either way I encourage you to embrace the fun side of the session and creating beautiful images. No matter what type of session you will find that you will feel comfortable in front of my camera as my personality will help you feel at easy.
My style is candid, relaxed and my aim is capturing those beautiful in between natural moments. I love simple, clean lines and beautiful compositions. I will always set my images up for success, best lighting, best angles and best backgrounds. I will step in to direct and show when needed. My long lens allows me to be less intrusive in your moments. I encourage you to embrace the fun side of the session. Take a look at my portfolio.
I use a D810 Nikon High End Digital SLR with fixed lenses and zoom lenses. My favorite lens is the 50m and my external flash allows me to capture images in those low lighting conditions like reception.Technology can be unpredictable too so I always keep a back up camera, batteries, cards by my side.
I edit all my photo’s individually with care. I provide colour and crisp black and white images. High resolution print files and low resolution web files are provided. There is a 4-5 week image turnaround time for wedding photography. Additional products and services will have different time turnarounds please enquire for them. Portrait sessions the turnaround time is 1-2 weeks and corporate sessions are a 4 day turn around digital download service .
Travel has opened my eyes to different cultures and religions. I love cultures and the diversity of religions and I’d love to learn more about your religious customs. In fact the last wedding I captured was two cultures coming together for love, Assyrian and Spanish.
I like to suggest having a contingency plan when it comes to the weather/rain. In saying that I have captured the most beautiful wedding images when it’s rained. The clouds make beautiful even lighting.
Wedding Time line
Just completing a events management Tafe course I understand the importance of a timeline and preparation. I will recommend allocating time into your timeline schedule for particular photography requirements. I like to help you with your timeline to make sure your day is planned for less stress.
