5 days in Kyoto, Japan
And so the adventure begins, in the beautiful city of Kyoto. It’s cold and it just started to snow. Our hands and our faces are chilled by the snow that touches our skin. People are walking around with colourful umbrella’s and as the day turns into night, the street car lights pave the way to our accommodation. Curiosity starts the journey and a helpful guide helps alot too.
Step into the grounds of the imperial palace once reigned by an emperor, experience the sounds of the nightingale floors of Nijo castle, smell the sweetness of the Japanese gardens and touch and drink the water at Otowa waterfall in Kiyomizu-dera Temple (Ottawa no Taki).
